CAMPAIGN BUZZ

January 27, 2025

Candidates face off at a Candidate Forum

Six Candidates for two seats answer questions about a few subjects in the Village of Royal Palm Beach

I am simply continuing where my husband selflessly and protectively worked at while trying to do what was in the best interest of the citizens and the Village of Royal Palm Beach.  His goals were being fulfilled and my intent is to not TRY to duplicate him for I was a part of him.  It's effortless for we've been doing this during our marrieage.  My husband became Mayor three years after we married.  It was a commitment we made together

Palm Beach Post article referencing First Black Person in Role as Mayor

Heart health is so important for the well being and longevity of life.  My husbands passing was beyond devastating.  It has fueled my resilience to carry on his mission, passion for our village and the legacy of the Pinto name.  What family wouldn't want to carry on their family's legacy.  The new Village Hall and other phases of what my husband led the Council in

accomplishing.  He believed in teamwork and followthrough  True traits of a Veteran and an Effective Corporate Executive The Palm Beach Post nicely made mention of him as the First Black Person to hold an office a Mayor.    This is PROOF of my husbands commitment for the well being and interest of others.  He NEVER once made mention of this pubilcly but in my arms it hurt the feelings especially during Black History Month when he introduced others for thier achievements.  That's selfless.  That was my Beloved.

MRS. PINTO'S MESSAGE

2.20.25
While driving through the Village, checking on my signs, I discovered two of the ONLY signs I had on the golf course in Madison Green, were GONE.  As you know, signs cost a lot of money and I'm sure it wasn't the landsxapers for they didn't cut the area where the signs were posted.

If someone from an opposing team did this, is this their way?  Is this a person our village should vote for?  Is this a character our village wants to represent them?  Is this the kind of person who will do what is in the BEST interest of the citizens.  Sign stealers will steal other valuaable things while in office.  They are already not following the rules of campaigning.  They are showing their TRUE heart.  It's NOT right.  It's not a reflection of Good Governance.  It's not LEADERSHIP and this is the beginning of what could turn into corruption and misuse of power.
